The children’s ministry of Trinity Presbyterian Church (TPC) aims to glorify God by providing our children with Biblical instruction and catechism training on Sunday mornings and during fellowship events. We believe that parents are primarily responsible for instructing their children in the ways of the Lord, and we delight in walking alongside them in this endeavor.
While we do provide a number of Children's Ministry activities, parents are by no means required to utilize them. We value children (including infants) participating in the worship service through exposure to corporate worship with their families. We also recognize the value of having a dedicated space for our younger children to learn and play in a more child-oriented environment. Our goal is to help parents train their children to become active participants in our worship practices and adult members of a gospel-preaching church. We exist to help and support parents – whether through specific programs or simply prayers and encouragement.
We understand that children learning to participate in worship means extra noise, wiggles, and movement — and we embrace that. We welcome individuals of all abilities, including those with special needs who may express themselves in ways that are louder, more active, or unique. Our desire is to be a church family where everyone is included as we worship God together.

We offer a number of activities for children every Sunday morning.
Sunday School (9 am – 10 am):
*Promotion Sunday is the first Sunday after Labor Day -- typically the second Sunday of September.
Worship Service (10:30 am – 12:15 pm):
To encourage our children to hide God’s Word in their hearts and learn the tenets of our Reformed faith, we maintain a Memory Prize System that rewards children who can recite verses and catechism answers at church on a weekly basis. Sunday School teachers distribute physical copies of the memory work for children to share with their parents, but they are also available online.
Children’s ministry also sponsors seasonal events, such as a Summer Wet ‘n Wild Day, a Christmas party, a Halloween Party, and an Easter Egg Hunt. Children, parents, families, and friends are always welcome at these fun occasions. While the next few events are listed below, please check the calendar for more info!
