Trinity believes that the Biblical mandate to make disciples applies to our youth (6th-12th graders), particularly as they grow older, profess faith, and take communion. When we baptize children at Trinity, members take a vow to assist parents as they raise their children in the faith. Fostering relationships between our youth and older generations allows our members to fulfill that vow, builds up the faith of young Christians, and provides a vibrant church community.
Rising 6th graders are invited to join the youth group starting on promotion Sunday in September. Parents are always welcome to attend youth group events as well. A Youth Steering Committee, led by the Youth Ministry Coordinator, is responsible for planning events, choosing curriculum, and ensuring parents remain well-informed of ministry direction.

Trinity hosts a Youth Discipleship Lunch twice a month following the Sunday Worship Service. These meetings are held at a member’s house: the location is announced via email and at the worship service. On these Sundays, youth should go immediately to Youth Discipleship Lunch after worship concludes, as we have structured activities planned. Usually, these include:
- Lunch (12:45-1:30)
- A lesson, taught by an elder or designated adult member (1:30-2:15)
- A game/activity (2:15-3:00).
To foster community and fellowship among our youth and across generations, Trinity also hosts various service opportunities and social events for the youth, such as:
- Performing yardwork and other tasks for members in need.
- An annual water day, hosted by an elder who takes the youth tubing on the Severn.
- A summer trip to Hershey Park.
- Movie nights, where adult members watch and discuss a film with the youth.
- Winter snow tubing trips to Liberty Ski Resort.
- Summer book studies for youth girls.
- A tea party for youth girls.
- The Christmastime progressive dinner, hosted at three members’ houses.
